Maternity

During the booking process for our Maternity sessions, I always ask for your due date and the amount of weeks into your pregnancy you are. While maternity portraits can be done at any time during your pregnancy, I recommend 28-34 weeks. This is the optimal time as it is far enough into your pregnancy to see your growing bump, and glowing aurora, but it also isn't so far into your pregnancy that you may have swelling, and any aches and pains that are associated to baby moving down into the birth canal to prepare for their entrance.  I have found that most of my mommas are most comfortable during this time period and are more easily posed and feel better during their session!

The maternity sessions can be done outdoors at a location of your choice, or in the studio with our fine art backdrops that have a timeless elegant feel to them. Depending on the season/time of year, outdoor location photo sessions have a bit less flexibility in time because of the temperature and sunset time. However both options are equally as great and totally dependent on what you want to see with your maternity portraits!

I have a studio closet full of gorgeous maternity gowns that range from all sizes that are only available for the clients of Chelsea Sylvester Photography. This is a perk that comes with booking me for your maternity portraits, and one of my favorite perks! You are welcome to use one, or more of the gowns during your session to make it truly what you want to see, without purchasing multiple gowns for one single session! This also helps so that you can focus on you and growing your precious babe rather than spending hours looking and shopping for a maternity gown online!

Although for portraits, whether family, maternity, milestone, etc. all of the pricing is the $200 session fee, and then photos sold separately! No digital images or prints come with the session fee, this fee is a nonrefundable or transferable fee that covers the planning of the session, the session, and the reveal/ordering session catered to you!

After your session, I edit all of the final images and schedule a time for you to come back into the studio for a private gallery reveal session. This is where you will view all of your edited images and decide what it is you want to do with them! We have many different options that cater to many different wants, needs, and budgets!

All of our prices are listed right on the main investment page as well as here. There is Wall Art, which consists of the choice between Canvas Gallery Wraps, Framed Prints, and Metal Printed Art. We also have your standard Gift Prints. Digital collections are available for those who prefer to print their photographs on their own. One of my favorite options is our Albums and Books, there is two types of books that I offer depending on the style and budget you are looking to keep. There are also other add on items that are available as well depending on season and stock.
